Installation Process
The synthetic
turf is installed over a sub-base and base in concrete or asphalt 5cm + 2cm
thick with the necessary flatness and with a slope around 0.8-1% between the
middle and the side-base lines. A drainage collector should be installed behind
the base lines (if necessary)
Installation of shock-pad + synthetic grass
The shock-pad rolls should be unrolled on the field in a cross direction and
jointed together with a fibreglass net and special glue. All the area must be
covered by a tnt geotextile blocking all the surface with nails and/or glue.
The synthetic grass rolls should be unrolled on the field in a cross direction.
The edges are then adjusted by trimming 2-3cm on both sides in order to obtain
perfectly straight rolls.
The Roll seaming tape used will be in 100% pes non woven geotextile, the glue
used will be two component p.u. glue, at a quantity per linear meter of +/- 400
gr. The weather and the glueing area should be dry.
The lines are traced with ropes, they being 8-10cm wide (yellow or white). Then,
the green turf is cut along these ropes using a rigid ruler and these pieces
removed. Saving time and obtaining a better linear result, we use a double
bladed knife tool with the distance between the blades of 10cm. Then the
prefabricated lines are inserted seaming them to the green turf using the same
tape and glue as for seaming rolls.
